26 Oktyabr 2018 tarixində Sumqayıt Plaza Mehmanxanasında SKAL International Baku Beynəlxaq Turizm Peşəkarları Birliyinin 22-ci Toplantısı keçirildi. Tədbirdə SKAL Baku klubunun üzvləri, media nümayəndələri və xüsusi dəvətli qonaqlar iştirak etdilər. Klubunun sədri cənab Ceyhun Aşurov rəsmi tədbiri açıq elan edib, iştirakçıları salamladı və Skal Baku klubunun qurucu fəxri sədri, (GHTC) Qlobal Sağlamlıq Turizmi Təşkilatının Prezidenti Ruslan Quliyevə söz verdi. Ruslan Quliyev də öz nitqində Skalın turizmə verdiyi dəstəyindən danışdı. Daha sonra Skal Baku klubunun gənc Skal Lideri Tahir Məmmədov Beynəlxalq Skal Təşkilatı, bu təşkilata üzv olmağın faydalarından və fəaliyyəti haqqında ətraflı məlumat verdi.
Tədbirin hörmətli qonaqları Azərbaycan Respublikasının Milli Məclisinin Deputatı Mirzəcan Xəlilovun, Azərbaycan Turizm və Menecment Universitetinin Prorektoru Anar Eminovun, Azərbaycan Milli QHT Formunun Prezidenti Rauf Zeyninin, ASK-nın vitse-prezidenti Vüqar Zeynalovun və Sumqayıt şəhər icra Həkimiyyətinin Nümayəndəsinin çıxışları oldu. Sonda Azərbaycan Dövlət Turizm Agentliyinin rəsmi nümayəndəsi Kənan Qasımov Agentliyin və Azərbaycan Turizm Bürosunun gələcəkdə görəcəyi strateji işləri haqqında danışdı və auditoriya tərəfindən yöndləndirilən suallara cavab verdi.
Onu da qeyd etmək lazımdır ki, tədbir eyni zamanda Skal Baku klubunun paytaxtdan kənar təşkit etdiyi ilk görüş idi. Burda məqsəd təkcə Bakının turizm bölgəsi olaraq yox digər regionlara da diqqətə cəlb etmək idi. Tədbirdə hal-hazırda Sumqayıtın turizm potensialından və turistlər üçün maraqlı ola biləcək imkanlarından danışıldı.
Tədbirin sonunda Skal Baku klubunun sədri Ceyhun Aşurov Sumqayıt Hotelinin Rəhbərliyinə tədbirə ev sahibliyi etdiyi üçün dərin təşəkkürünü bildirdi və Skalın yeni üzvlərinə üzvlük kartlarını və sertifikatlarını təqdim etdi. Tədbirin qeyri-rəsmi hissəsində qonaqlar şam yeməyinə dəvət edildilər.

22nd Meeting of SKAL International Baku
On October 26, 2018, the 22nd Meeting of SKAL International Baku Association of Tourism Professionals was held at Sumqayit Plaza Hotel. SKAL Baku club members, media representatives, and special guests attended the event. SKAL Baku club president Mr. Jeyhun Ashurov officially welcomed the attendees and gave the speech to the Honorary president of the Skal Baku club, President of the Global Health Tourism Organization, Ruslan Guliyev. He also spoke about the support of the Association for tourism in his speech. Young Skal Leader Tahir Mammadov gave detailed information about the benefits of membership for the SKAL International Association and its activities.
Honorable guests of the event were Deputy of Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mirzajan Khalilov, Pro-rector of Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management Anar Eminov, President of the National NGO Form Rauf Zeyni, Vice president of The National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AEC) Vugar Zeynalov and Executive Power Representative of Sumgayit City . In the end, the official representative of the Azerbaijan State Tourism Agency Kenan Gasimov talked about the strategic activities of the Agency and the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau and answered questions of the audience.
It should be noted that the event was also the first meeting of Skal Baku club outside the capital. The purpose was to attract attention not only to the capital city Baku but also to other regions. At the event, tourism potential of Sumgayit and opportunities for tourists were discussed.
In the end, Chairman of the Skal Baku club, Jeyhun Ashurov, expressed attitude to Sumgayit Hotel Management for supporting the event and presented new membership cards and certificates to the new Skal members. In the informal part of the event, guests were invited to dinner.
